Eight days learning wool weaving on a foot loom in Momostenango. Dates: March 5 to March 12, 2027.
Spend a week between Quetzaltenango (Xela) and Momostenango learning with Jun B'atz', the studio of Byron and his family of weavers. You will walk through the entire wool process: get to know the territory and its sheep, clean and spin the fiber, dye it naturally with plants, and finish by weaving your own piece on a foot loom.
